This is not your run of the mill marketing role. We are looking for a keen, curious individual who is passionate about automated customer communications - someone who is all about building and improving customer journeys and experiences.
First and foremost, you’ll need to have great communication skills, as this role will see you work with a range of internal stakeholders at all levels.
Your self-sufficient nature and drive to contribute means you work effectively, both independently and collaboratively, to deliver outstanding results.
You’re someone who takes personal responsibility, initiative, and ownership for the work you deliver. You will also have a passion for finding ways to be more efficient, either through automation, or business process improvements.
You’ll be using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, MS Excel, and SQL daily. We can train you on all of these, but for us attitude and passion are everything – we want someone who has both qualities - in spades.

Nova Energy is a multi-utility retailer offering great value energy and telecommunications services to kiwi families and businesses nationwide.
This role, which sits within Nova’s Marketing team, is responsible for developing and maintaining the business’ automated customer communications, along with ensuring the accuracy of Nova’s customer data.
From managing and building our customer journeys to generating actionable sales leads and insights from Marketing Cloud, the role will cover a multitude of tasks.
We are a high performing team and we’re looking for a technically minded individual to join us. We're also looking for someone with:
- A degree or qualifications in Computer Science, Marketing, or other relevant discipline
- Experience with marketing automation platforms and customer billing systems
- Exposure to SQL, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap would be advantageous
- A curious mind with the ability to analyse processes to identify areas for improvement, and who likes to challenge the status quo
