Deloitte Energy Excellence Awards - Energy Retailer of the Year 2016
The Deloitte Energy Excellence Awards recognise excellence and achievement across the electricity, gas, petroleum and transport energy industries. The Energy Retailer of the year award is presented to the retailer with the strongest overall performance in New Zealand for the year and it is assessed by Consumer NZ members through the results of the 2016 Consumer NZ energy providers' survey and a judging panel comprising Consumer NZ and Energy News representatives.

Nova Energy won the Roy Morgan Research Electricity Provider of the Year 2015/16. The award recognises excellence in overall customer satisfaction. CRM – Energy retailer contact centre of the year
Nova Energy won the industry award for Best Energy Retail Contact Centre at the 2014 CRM Contact Centre Awards. The awards, run by CRM Consulting, recognise excellence in the Contact Centre industry and measure the quality of service being delivered. The awards saw entries from more than 100 call centres across 16 different industries.
The awards were established to provide an annual snap-shot of how New Zealand Contact Centres are responding to customer enquiries over the telephone and via the Internet. The quality of the customer experience provided by the entrant companies is analysed, with transparent criteria that recognises industry best practice.
