Transfer Your Number Additional Terms

The terms and conditions set out below (“Additional Terms”) apply to your request to transfer your mobile phone number from your existing provider to Nova Energy Limited (“Nova”).

We require you to either:

  • complete a number transfer request through the Nova Hub, our online customer self-service app;
  • otherwise confirm that you understand and accept these Additional Terms before we agree to accept your number transfer request.

Please read and accept these terms:

  1. I confirm I have the authority to request the transfer of this number.
  2. I understand:
    1. I am requesting to transfer this number from my existing provider to Nova.
    2. By transferring this number to Nova, the service with my existing provider will be disconnected and my account with that provider may be terminated.
    3. I may continue to have outstanding obligations to my existing provider, including early termination fees and/or number transfer fees. It is my responsibility to check the terms and conditions of my agreement with my existing provider, to find out if I have any outstanding obligations to that provider and to discharge such obligations.
    4. After transferring my number to Nova, some of the services I currently receive may not be supported by Nova or may be accessed in a different way.
    5. Providing incorrect information in my number transfer request may delay the transfer or cause the transfer to fail.
    6. Once the number transfer process has started it must be completed.
    7. If I want to make any changes to part, or all, of my transfer request after the process has begun, a new transfer request is required.
    8. My number transfer request is valid for 30 days from the date it is submitted.
    9. Nova is not obligated to accept my number transfer request.
    10. Nova will supply information about me and my mobile number to my existing provider as part of the number transfer process.
    11. The information provided by me in relation to this transfer request may be used for the delivery of services, fault management and handling any complaints I make. The information may also be provided to emergency services and as lawfully required by law enforcement agencies.
    12. Nova will not be liable for any loss or damage (direct or indirect) resulting from failure or delay in the number transfer process.
    13. After I have transferred my number, any calls, texts, data or pre-pay credit balances with my existing provider may be lost.
  3. I authorise Nova to transfer the requested number from my existing provider to Nova.
