Do you offer a prompt payment discount?
Yes, there is a 15% Prompt Payment Discount available to residential customers who pay their bill on time and in full. This prompt payment discount applies to residential electricity and natural gas.
How is prompt payment discount calculated?
On bills, G.S.T and the Prompt Payment Discounts are calculated on the subtotals rather than on each individual price and are subject to rounding. Some bill charges do not accrue Prompt Payment Discount. These include but are not limited to disconnection and reconnection fees, account credits and meter replacement service changes.
How will I receive my bills?
We can send your bill to you via email or post – all you need to do is let us know how you’d like to receive them.
How do I set up direct debit?
You’ll receive a direct debit form with your Welcome Pack but you can also download one here:
- Direct Debit for electricity and/or natural gas.
Download and complete the form then post it back to us or if you are setting up a bank direct debit you can email the completed form to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that all credit card direct debit applications need to be returned by post not via email.
What other payment options do you offer?
We also offer internet banking, telephone banking, automatic payment and cheque. Any payment authority that you have set up with your current supplier will not transfer to Nova Energy so you’ll need to set up new authorities with us.

With your bank select “Nova Energy Ltd” as the bill payee. If your bank doesn’t already have Nova Energy Ltd as a bill payee you can set it up yourself using our bank details below. Please use your customer number as a reference so we can identify your payments.
