Nova’s electricity only customers can now choose to pay for their power weekly or fortnightly to help make budgeting easier.
“We’ve proud to introduce weekly and fortnightly billing options for our electricity customers with smart meters and we’re looking to offer this to our home broadband, phone and Plume® customers in the near future” says Colin Leslie, Nova’s General Manager, Retail Services.
“Both existing and new customers who meet our eligibility criteria for weekly and fortnightly billing are able to change from monthly billing simply by calling or emailing us”.
Weekly or fortnightly billing is available to residential and business electricity customers with communicating smart electricity meters. Customers also needs to be set up to get their bills by email (e-bill) and pay their account electronically (direct debit, online banking, phone EFTPOS or credit card payment, or via the Nova App).
Customers who choose to go on the new billing options will receive their bills on Tuesday each week or fortnight. Their invoice will cover their usage for the previous 7 or 14 days ending on or around midnight Sunday.
Payment for each bill will be due 2 days from the date of invoice – which is Thursday each week or fortnight. For more information on the Weekly and Fortnightly billing click here.
