How do I set up my home phone with the Nokia Beacons?

1. Complete Beacon set-up

First, complete the setup instructions for your Nokia Beacons. Ensure Beacon #1 is glowing blue.

2. Connect power adapter

Connect the power adapter to the ATA,  then plug it into a wall socket close to Beacon #1 and switch the power on. Only use the power adapter provided with this ATA.

3. Connect Ethernet cable

Connect the blue Ethernet cable to the blue WAN port on the back of the ATA. Symbolised by a small globe.

4. Connect to Beacon

Plug the other end of the Ethernet cable into the yellow LAN port on the back of Beacon #1 (the one connected to your ONT).

5. Connect to VoIP handset base unit

Using an RJ11 cable, connect a VoIP phone base unit to Telephone port 1 on the back of the ATA. Please note, your phone equipment must be Telepermit compatible;

6. Power on your phone handset

Connect the power adapter to the phone base unit, plug it into a wall socket and power it on. You should now be ready to make and receive calls.
